8052 controller is Mask Programmable.
Derivative of 8052 microcontroller is the 89C52 microcontroller.
It has 4 ports.
It is an 8 bit device for I/O.
4K Bytes of ROM Space.
256Bytes of RAM space.
It also has Timer, Serial Port interface and Interrupt controlling.
MAX 232 is an dual driver/receiver
It is used to convert the TTL/CMOS logic levels to RS232 logic levels during serial communication of microcontrollers with PC.
TTL logic level (0-5V) and
RS232 standards (-25 V to + 25V).
Hence difficult to establish a direct link.
We go for an intermediate link i.e. MAX232.
MAX232 provides best noise rejection and very reliable against discharges and short circuit.
Hardware & Softwares used
This project uses :
regulated 5V, 500mA power supply.
7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation.
Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.
