The WHO (World Health Organization) survey in 2011 tells us that in the world around 1% of the human population has visual impairments and among them 10% are totally blind. The main problem with blind people is mobility. This work proposes a tool for people with visual impairment that will provide them with navigation. The long white cane is a traditional mobility tool used to detect obstacles in the path of a blind person. We are modifying this cane with some electronic components and sensors so that the cane can become intelligent cane. In this project we are using ultrasonic sensors, water sensor, buzzer, Bluetooth module. The ultrasonic sensor is used to detect any obstacles. It has detection distance of 2cm-450cm so whenever there is any obstacle in this range will alert the person. The water sensor is used to detect if there is water on the road. So the person can be aware of it. The Bluetooth module will help the person to find the stick standing away. If the person wants to find him, he / she will press a button on the remote control and the buzzer will ring and the person can get the idea where the stick is placed.
